This role serves as a strategic partner and right-hand to Vittal, leading initiatives to elevate testing discipline, test data strategy, automation maturity, and overall engineering quality. The position requires deep technical credibility combined with program leadership expertise.Key Responsibilities:Quality Engineering Transformation: Lead enterprise-wide initiatives to mature testing strategy, automation frameworks, and quality governance across complex systems.Test Data Management & Virtualization: Drive synthetic data strategy, artificial dataset creation, and response simulation to enable scalable and efficient testing environments.Technical Engagement: Partner closely with engineering teams on architecture discussions including databases, security, networking, latency, and performance considerations (approx. 60% technical focus).Automation & Performance Strategy: Support and influence Selenium-based automation initiatives, performance testing, and broader quality engineering frameworks.Program Leadership & Reporting: Manage transformation roadmaps, track progress against a structured 30-60-90 day plan, and deliver bi-weekly updates. Represent quality engineering initiatives in executive and leadership forums (approx. 40% transformation/program focus).Metrics & Governance: Develop, track, and report quality metrics to measure testing maturity and program effectiveness.TALENT PROFILERequired Skills/ Experience 12+ years of overall experience with strong technical depth and enterprise program leadership Hands-on understanding of Java, Python,.NET, C++, Oracle, MongoDB, SQL, and Power BI Strong background in testing strategy, quality engineering, and automation frameworks Experience engaging in architecture, database, and security discussions Proven ability to lead enterprise-level testing or quality transformationsPreferred Skills/ Experience JMeter and performance testing expertise Mainframe exposure Financial services background Experience with Selenium, Zephyr, JIRA, and modern test management toolsRequired Software/ Technology Java, Python,.NET, C++, Oracle, MongoDB, SQL, and Power BI Preferred Software/ Technology JMeter and performance testing expertise Mainframe exposureRequired Education/ Certifications Bachelor's degree Preferred Education/ Certifications n/aPROCESS & EXPERIENCEInterview Process Round 1: MS Teams video Round 2: Onsite
