Job Family:Operational Effectiveness ConsultingTravel Required:Up to 75%+Clearance Required:Ability to Obtain Public TrustWhat You Will Do:The Training and Adoption Consultant will be responsible for supporting our client with their electronic health record (EHR) implementation. This position will help prepare end users for the new EHR through onsite facilitation of learning activities such as classroom instruction, computer-based training, scenario-based practice and hands-on coaching. Trainers position end users to acquire the knowledge and skills to effectively use their EHR systems and provide ongoing support and guidance throughout the training lifecycle. The candidate will:Facilitate education of the client’s training strategy at assigned sites through training sessions at hospitals and clinicals through various training types including in-person, virtual or hybridCollaborate with cross-pillar workstreamsDocument successful completion of technical and functional user trainingAttend and/or lead meetings with stakeholders at multiple levelsAttend internal and external meetingsSupport go-live readiness activities including learning labs, sign on fairs, favorite fairsSupport go-live activities at hospitals and clinicsWhat You Will Need:Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse Due to contract requirements, US Citizenship restrictions apply: No sponsorship availableMinimum of Bachelor's DegreeMinimum of 3 years of training experienceAbility to work 12-hour shifts on site during pre- and post go-live activitiesExperience working directly in the Oracle Health/Cerner EHR as a clinician, administrative staff, or other end userKnowledge of the use of Microsoft Office Products and related applicationsDemonstrates abilities and success with identifying and addressing client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; communicating a broad range of firm services; preparing concise, accurate documentsMust be organized, self-motivated and able to multitask in a fast paced and dynamic work environmentDemonstrated ability to excel both independently and as a team member in a lively, collaborative environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present to executive leadershipAbility to manage deadlines and recurring deliverablesQuiet workspace to deliver learning with supporting IT accessories including access to a cellphone. Access to a working cellphone will be required during onsite activities.*****MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL UP TO 100%*****What Would Be Nice To Have:Advanced degree in healthcare related fieldExperience in health care information technology (HCIT) consulting with a major healthcare organization or large-scale IT transformation projectExperience as a clinicianThe annual salary range for this position is $89,000.00-$148,000.00.
