Warehouse Associate

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is partnering with a respected client in Plymouth Michigan specializing in automotive batteries.


Material Handler Job Summary:

• Safe operation of a lift truck in both warehouse and production areas

• Loading, unloading, storage and movement of materials through warehouse and/or production areas

• Verify the quality of the material sent outbound meets customer expectations

• Maintain clean and orderly warehouse

• Adheres to all instructions in a professional manner

• Pay: $20 per hour, based on experience

• Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm with occasional overtime as needed

Essential Functions/Job Responsibilities:

• Safely operating forklifts to transport materials i na warehouse setting

• Loading/unloading material from trucks

• Maintaining organized warehouse/production inventory

• Collaborates with employees to maintain organization & delivering materials with urgency
  
  
• Always adheres to safety protocols and follows policies and procedures
  
  
• Other duties as assigned by Management

Material Handler Qualifications:?

• Education: High School Diploma or related field preferred.

• Experience: 5 years' experience operating a forklift

• Previous background in production preferred

• Regular and predictable attendance required

Other Requirements:

• Material handling experience.
• CDL Major Plus but not required.
• Exceptional dedication to dependability and punctuality.

• Strong work ethic.

• Ability to engage a team toward a common mission.
