Manufacturing Process Engineer needed for a leading manufacturer of packaging materials near Newton, NC. This person will lead and oversee the coating and material manufacturing through commercialization of innovative coating solutions.

responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the coating and material manufacturing through commercialization of innovative coating solutions
  
  
• Drive continuous improvement on coating assets, operator engagement/development and safety
  
  
• Lead risk assessments of equipment to drive safety improvements using skilled engineering practices
  
  
• Oversee daily operations activities and process driven improvement projects
  
  
• Work with maintenance on machinery enhancements as well as troubleshooting and upgrades
  
  
• Monitor and analyze process data, using insights to recommend and implement improvements in coating processes and technologies.
  
  
• Identify process improvement opportunities and work with management on capital investments

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  
  
  
• 10+ years of process improvement experience within a manufacturing environment

• Hands-on experience within a manufacturing environment

• Web handling or coatings experience (films, foils, paper, nonwovens)
