Manufacturing Technician - Lean - Fort Worth, TX

Job Overview Manufacturing Engineer Hourly Technician to join the LEAN team at our Fort Worth, TX site. The role is on‑site, hour shift 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, hourly rate $25.00 - $35.75. You will drive continuous improvement across the production floor, set up equipment, optimize layouts, and reduce waste using LEAN methodologies. Responsibilities Drive continuous improvement across the entire production floor. Assist with setting up equipment and optimizing layouts. Reduce waste using LEAN methodologies. Support and lead Lean initiatives, training and continuous improvement activities. Contribute to the design of efficient layouts and material flows to optimize productivity. Develop standards and work instructions to ensure consistency in production processes. Conduct problem investigations, root cause analysis, solution implementation, and follow‑up. Assist with the set‑up of production lines and processes, including hands‑on activities. Collaborate with manufacturing, contractors, and suppliers from project implementation. Perform other related tasks as advised by supervision. Basic Qualifications 2+ years in a manufacturing facility. Familiarity with basic Lean principles (6S, 7 Waste, Kaizen, Problem Solving). Proficient in hand and power tools for installation of electro‑mechanical equipment. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics. Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Two‑year technical degree or equivalent. Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to facilitate discussions and deliver trainings. 4+ years supporting manufacturing in a technical role. Experience safely operating powered industrial vehicles. Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD or similar software applications. SAP knowledge or equivalent ERP systems. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
