Physiatrist

Benefis, one of Montana's largest health systems, is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Physiatrist to join their dynamic Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation team. This role is primarily outpatient with occasional inpatient rehabilitation cross-coverage, offering a supportive and collegial environment. All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application. Practice Info Join a leading, CARF-accredited rehabilitation program. Primarily outpatient role with occasional inpatient rehabilitation cross-coverage. Strong referral base with 330+ providers within the health system and additional referrals statewide. Onsite access to physical, occupational, and speech therapy including therapy garden, home training, and recreational outings. Interdisciplinary Team Conferences held three times per week across different shifts to include all staff. 20-bed CARF-accredited acute rehab unit (accredited >40 years - top 5 in the nation for longevity). Responsibilities Pursue clinical interests including TBI, Stroke, Spasticity Management, Amputee Care, Migraine/Headache Botox (spasticity, dystonia, migraines), Baclofen Intrathecal Pump Evaluations and Refills. Perform Joint Injections (shoulder, hip, knee, ankle). Perform EMGs. Cover subacute, MSK, medical-legal, and other specialty areas. Perform own nerve conduction studies. Provide occasional inpatient rehabilitation cross-coverage. Manage daily admissions/discharges (2-3 each, Monday-Friday) when covering inpatient rehab. Provide rare weekend call, limited to potential admissions when covering inpatient rehab. Benefits 8 Weeks Off. Shift & Schedule Flexible clinic hours.
