Multimodality Technologist – Cardiac Outpatient Services We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Multimodality Technologist for a full‑time, 13‑week contract position within a Cardiac Outpatient Services setting. The role is based at the Baylor Heart Hospital Outpatient Imaging Clinic in Plano, Texas. The technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures across two or more disciplines, with at least 25% focused on advanced modalities such as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance (MR), Nuclear Medicine, or Interventional Radiology. Working under the supervision of a radiologist, the position provides high‑quality imaging services to ambulatory and hospital patients to aid in diagnosis while strictly adhering to established protocols. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging examinations across multiple modalities, including CT, MR, Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional Radiology. Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, safety protocols, and departmental procedures. Ensure optimal image quality and accuracy for diagnostic interpretation by radiologists. Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Accurately document patient information, imaging procedures, and any relevant observations in the electronic health record. Adhere to institutional policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, including patient safety and infection control. Provide clear and compassionate patient education regarding procedures and ensure patient comfort throughout the imaging process. Required Qualifications Graduation from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology. Ability to competently perform imaging in two or more disciplines, with at least 25% of work focused on advanced modalities (CT, MR, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional Radiology). Preferred Qualifications One (1) year or more of experience as a Multimodality Technologist, preferably in a cardiac outpatient setting. Advanced certifications in specific modalities (e.g., ARRT(CT), ARRT(MR), CNMT). Skills & Competencies Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting imaging equipment across multiple modalities (CT, MR, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional Radiology). Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to diagnostic imaging. Excellent patient care, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast‑paced outpatient clinical environment. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to diagnostic accuracy. Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking abilities. Shift Details Shift type: Day shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM). Days: Monday – Friday. Call requirements: None. Weekend rotation: None. Holiday rotation: None. Contract length: 13 weeks. Start date: June 4, 2026. End date: September 3, 2026. Licensing Requirements Current Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of Texas. Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in at least two modalities, with one being an advanced modality (CT, MR, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional Radiology).
