Mechanical Assembler

Mechanical AssemblerAs a Mechanical Assembler you will be responsible for the assembly of mechanical pieces and being an integral part of our Production line. You will be responsible for functions that include using hand and power tools, following detailed assembly instructions, and contributing to a team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Other duties may include assisting team members in ad-hoc projects such as assembling tables, transferring heavy material to different locations, and providing support for other manufacturing departments.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalent and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in a contract manufacturing environmentEnglish proficiency is required, Mandarin proficiency is a plus.Skills:Great verbal and written communication skillsRead and understand work orders and manufacturing work instructionsAccuracy for documentationEffectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employeesCommon sense to solve practical problemsKnowledge of ISO-9001, ESD, SPC, and IPC-A-610Attention to detailResponsibilities:Using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble unitsFollow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and proceduresInspection cosmetic chassis defect before installing PCBAMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededBenefits:PEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
