Hadco Metal Trading Co. LLC distributes and supplies metal products including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, related alloys, and engineering grade plastics. We provide plates, sheets, and extensive offerings of long products for general engineering, aerospace, and commercial markets. Our range of precision cutting equipment includes CNC machines-routers, water jets, band saws, plate saws, and shears.

Hadco facilities are located throughout the East, Midwest and West coasts, allowing a nationwide presence and coverage for next-day delivery.

Hadco Metals, Bensalem, PA is hiring a Sales Assistant to provide administrative support and assistance to inside, outside, and export sales team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are looking to contribute to our success, we encourage you to apply.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter sales orders from customers and/or sales representatives into an ERP system.
• Proofread and review order entry for accuracy.
• Follow up on open issues associated with sales orders, including outside processing, stock transfers, and buyouts.
• Maintain contract ship dates and order changes.
• Create part numbers as required.
• Regularly advise sales representatives of the timely order process and shipment to customers.
• Assist sales in obtaining quotes from vendors.
• Provide order updates to customers.
• Other office duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office.
• 1-2 years of experience in an administrative support role.
• Basic math skills, including decimals and fractions.
• Ability to read and write in English.
