What Our Client Needs

Our client is seeking a Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) to drive clinical demand generation and adoption of extracorporeal photopheresis (ECP) for approved indications, including Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma (CTCL). This field-based role is responsible for territory growth by engaging specialist clinicians, supporting referral pathway optimization, and serving as the primary commercial point of contact for assigned accounts.

What You’ll Do

Drive clinical adoption of ECP by partnering with specialist clinicians and supporting referral pathway optimization across your territory.

• Promote evidence-based, on-label adoption of ECP through compliant clinical engagements.
• Identify and engage dermatologists, hematologist-oncologists, CTCL specialists, and other key referral partners.
• Lead clinical discussions focused on patient identification, treatment sequencing, guideline-aligned positioning, and objection handling.
• Support peer-to-peer educational programs, including speaker events, case discussions, and educational forums.
• Drive referral growth, treatment starts, and improvements in referral-to-treatment conversion.
• Serve as the primary commercial contact for assigned healthcare accounts.
• Identify and help resolve referral, workflow, and treatment pathway barriers through cross-functional collaboration.
• Coordinate with Customer Experience, Clinical Training, Technical Service, and Medical Affairs partners to address account needs.
• Maintain accurate CRM documentation, territory plans, stakeholder mapping, and field insights.
• Conduct all activities in compliance with applicable regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.

This field-based role supports the Central Territory and requires regular travel throughout the assigned geography. A valid driver's license is required. This position does not include direct supervisory responsibilities.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor's degree required; life sciences or healthcare-related field preferred.
• 5+ years of specialty pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device sales experience.
• Demonstrated success influencing specialist healthcare professionals.
• Strong clinical and scientific knowledge with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
• Experience developing and executing territory and account plans.
• Proficiency using CRM systems to document customer interactions and insights.
• Strong communication, facilitation, objection-handling, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams while working within defined commercial responsibilities.
• Experience in CTCL, oncology, dermatology, rare disease, or referral-driven therapeutic areas preferred.
• Experience working with academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, or matrix organizations preferred.
• Active driver's license required.
