We’re looking for a full‑time Medical Assistant at 1299 Industrial Parkway, Brunswick, OH. Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is required; willingness to learn on the job is acceptable. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 am–4:30 pm.

Snapshot Of Daily Duties

• Measure vital signs and document in patient’s chart.
• Collect specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Obtain, verify, and record health history of patients.
• Assist the physician with office visits and be available in emergencies.
• Manage patient prescriptions and referrals as directed by the physician.
• Answer patient questions and notify patients of test results.
• Review procedure reports to ensure patients have hospital orders and needed clearances.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and throughout the office as needed.
• Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines.
• Prepare examination rooms, clean, and restock supplies.
• Assist with dressing and undressing of patients if required.
• Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous medications with dosage verification.
• Perform phlebotomy for lab work and complete required forms.
• Assist with scheduling office visits, procedures, lab tests, x-rays, outpatient testing, hospital admissions, and appointments.

The Must Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant required.
• Experience working in a medical office environment preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology required.
• Open to travel to the Broadview Heights/Medina Office location.
