Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Role: Provide specialized nuclear medicine imaging services by preparing radiopharmaceuticals, administering them to patients, and operating imaging equipment such as scanners and gamma cameras. Support physicians and researchers with technical expertise, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities Obtain necessary approvals and signatures from nuclear medicine physicians. Assist patients with procedure preparation, including positioning and instructions. Operate imaging equipment and perform procedures like radiopharmaceutical injections under supervision. Ensure patient safety and environmental safety by following radiation safety protocols. Maintain precise patient records and utilize systems like McKesson PACS. Provide patient support during procedures. Qualifications & Skills Minimum 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine. Certification: ARRT (N) or NMTCB-CNMT, with state licensing if required. Current BLS certification. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
