Travel Registered Nurse – MedSurg / Telemetry ($68–$84/hr)

Join a leading acute care team in Cambridge for a high-paying Travel RN opportunity in MedSurg/Telemetry. We are actively seeking experienced Registered Nurses with strong telemetry and acute care backgrounds who are ready to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a high-acuity MedSurg/Telemetry unit
• Monitor telemetry patients and communicate changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products safely
• Utilize EPIC EMR and specialty equipment including Pyxis and Zebra scanners
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes

Common Patient Diagnoses

COPD • CHF • Diabetes • Sepsis • Pneumonia • Alcohol Withdrawal

Specialty Equipment Experience Preferred

Pyxis • Zebra Scanners • Bladder Scanners • Dopplers • General Medical Equipment

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements to Apply

• Active Massachusetts RN License (current or conditional)
• Minimum 1–2 years recent MedSurg/Telemetry experience
• Acute care hospital experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Ability to float to similar units
• Charge RN experience highly preferred
• Must be comfortable working:
  • 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
  • Every other major holiday
• Experience administering:
  • Antibiotics
  • Anticoagulants
  • Blood products
  • Lasix
  • Amiodarone
