About the Company Hajoca Corporation is one of the country's largest privately‑held wholesale distributors of plumbing, heating & cooling, and industrial supplies. Program Overview The Sales & Leadership Development program is a multi‑year rotational program designed to provide exposure to all aspects of the business. Participants develop an aligned understanding of their skill set and long‑term career goals, ultimately enabling a long‑term career in sales, operations management, profit center management, or other paths. Phases Phase 1 – Operations Learn and perform work related to business operations: receiving, shipping, processing returns, deliveries, and truck maintenance. Participate in vendor product‑knowledge sessions. Complete related online courses. Phase 2 – Counter Sales Assist customers and teammates in counter sales; process sales orders; provide product information; maintain display area. Participate in vendor product‑knowledge sessions. Gain experience working with residential, commercial, and repair‑and‑remodel contractors. Phase 3 – Sales Perform tasks related to pricing and margin management, bids, quotes, submittals, product procurement, and job scheduling. Develop relationships with vendors. Participate in joint sales calls with outside salespersons. Phase 4 – Career Focus Participate in an in‑depth career discussion with the assigned Profit Center Manager to decide which aspect of the business to pursue. About You College degree or equivalent experience. Experience in customer service, sales, management, or leadership roles. Driver Requirements Must be at least 18 years old. Must possess a proper and valid driver’s license. Must have a driving record that meets the criteria for being an Authorized Driver in accordance with company policy. Desired Skills & Attributes Build influential relationships and trust with customers and vendor partners. Build positive working relationships and inspire teamwork with co‑workers. Excellent communication, listening, and persuasive skills. Adapt quickly to changes in the work environment. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and effective prioritization. Learn safe operation of warehouse material‑handling equipment. Read, write, speak, and understand English. Perform basic arithmetic. Gain knowledge of products sold in the Profit Center.
