Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The Lutheran Home Hearthstone Assisted Living is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for our PRN nursing team. This role offers flexible scheduling in a faith-based senior living community that invests in team growth and recognition.

What You'll Do

• Provide compassionate nursing care to residents under the direction of the care team
• Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions
• Support personalized care planning for each resident
• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families
• Communicate openly with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Help create a supportive, respectful environment for residents

What You'll Need

Required:

• Current Illinois LPN license
• At least 1 year of nursing experience
• Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions and procedures

Preferred:

• Experience working with older adults

PRN Schedule Requirements

• Minimum of 4 shifts per month
• At least 1 weekend shift per month
• 1 observed holiday shift per calendar year
• Available shifts: 7:00am–3:00pm, 3:00pm–11:00pm, 11:00pm–7:00am
