Business Information Analyst - Automation (12-month contract)

Responsibilities

1. Automation Implementation

• Implement system enhancements aligned with organizational standards and best practices
• Partner with cross-functional teams to assess processes and define automation requirements
• Design, build, and deploy automation solutions (Appian, RPA, Power Apps, SharePoint)
• Support testing to ensure successful workflow implementation
• Deliver end-user training to drive adoption of new systems
• Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for automation tools

2. Continuous Improvement

• Promote continuous improvement and innovative thinking
• Maintain and update process documentation (Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Frequently Asked Questions)
• Track and validate efficiency gains post-implementation
• Prioritize initiatives based on impact and effort
• Standardize and share best practices across teams

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Business, IT, Analytics, or a related field
• 1+ year of experience in Supply Chain
• ~2 years of experience in Business Analysis or a similar role
• Experience developing low-code/no-code solutions and identifying automation opportunities
• Strong skills in process documentation, requirements gathering, and problem-solving
• Knowledge of project and change management, with experience supporting or leading initiatives
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated team player with strong time management skills
• Lean Six Sigma and/or Power Platform certification considered an asset
