Job Overview MO-SSM Health Medical Group, St. Peters Veterans Memorial Parkway. No Weekends or Holidays. Location: St. Peters, MO Job Summary Performs remote interrogations of pacemakers, defibrillators, and implantable loop recorders using device company websites, schedules appointments, imports reports, enters data into the proper systems, and prepares reports for physicians and the billing department. Job Responsibilities and Requirements Remotely interrogate pacemaker, implantable cardioverter defibrillator, and implantable loop recorder patients. Recognize abnormalities, malfunctions, and end‑of‑service indicators, notify cardiologists, and assist in scheduling follow‑up or replacement. Coordinate and prioritize with other healthcare team members to respond to, plan and initiate timely and efficient care. Educate patients and families regarding device function, clinic follow‑up scheduling, and document interactions thoroughly and accurately. Import and forward reports to referring physicians and providers. Ensure timely and proper documentation and billing. Participate in device remote monitoring, billing issues, and reporting issues. Support all aspects of documentation and follow‑up reports. Provide cross‑coverage as necessary and serve as a resource to staff, other departments, and administration. Maintain knowledge of hospital, department, and regulatory agency policies and requirements and participate in continuing education. Perform other duties as assigned. Education High school diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience. Experience Three years of pacemaker, defibrillator, or Paceart remote monitoring experience. Physical Requirements Constant standing and walking. Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information orally. Frequent use of hearing to distinguish body sounds or alarms. Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling objects weighing 0‑25 lbs. Frequent reaching, gripping, and keyboard use/data entry. Frequent use of vision for near (≤ 20 inches) and far (≥ 20 feet) distances and to identify colors. Occasional bending, stooping, crawling, kneeling, sitting, squatting, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements. Occasional use of vision to judge distances and spatial relationships. Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling objects weighing 25‑50 lbs. Occasional lifting/moving patients. Occasional use of smell to detect odors. Occasional driving. Required Professional License and Certifications State of Work Location: Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Wisconsin Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) – American Heart Association (AHA).
