Description

We are seeking a highly meticulous and detail-orientedindividual to join our team as a Quality Control Inspector in the constructionindustry. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuringthat all construction projects meet the highest quality standards and adhere toindustry regulations. This is a crucial role as it directly impacts theintegrity and safety of our construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of construction projects to identify any quality defects or deviations from specifications
• Document and report any non-compliant materials, processes, or workmanship to the management team
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and fab managers to address quality issues and develop effective solutions
• Perform regular audits and spot checks to verify that quality control processes are being followed
• Monitor and evaluate the application of building codes, regulations, and industry best practices
• Ensure that all construction materials meet the required standards and are stored properly
• Conduct tests, such as weld inspections, to verify compliance with project requirements

Requirements

• Solution minded problem solving skills
• Must be a team player
• Basic understanding and reading of construction drawings and blue prints
• Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector in the construction industry preferred
• In-depth knowledge of steel construction materials, methods, and processes
• Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using computer software for documentation and reporting
