Job Summary

• Main focus: sells insurance to new and current customers.
• Fixed hourly + commission.
• Minimum pay is base only/fixed hourly.
• Maximum pay consists of base/fixed hourly and commission.

General Accountabilities

• Uses lists of prospective and current customers.
• Generates lists of prospective customers.
• Maintains daily, weekly, monthly sales related activities to meet monthly goals.
• Contacts prospective and current customers and explains features and benefits of policies offered, recommending amount and type of coverage based on analysis of prospect's/customer's needs.
• Calculates and quotes premium rates for recommended policies.
• Collects premiums from policyholders and maintains record of payments.
• Where needed, calls on policyholders to deliver and explain the policy, suggests additions or changes in the insurance program and premium.
• Completes onboarding and quality control process of application input and customers' needs.
• Helps policyholders with filing claims, as needed.
• Anticipates future needs and calls on established clients to review and upgrade accounts.
• Develops long-term relationships with team-members, clients and underwriters.
• Develops referrals and follows up in a timely manner.
• Assists service team with service-related activities/takes service- related calls - 5% to15% of the time.
• Submits monthly reports to the Agent.
• Maintains an average of four 5-Star Reviews a month.
• Maintains timely and accurate records of work schedule (including in/out), administrative paperwork/payroll and training.

Job Qualifications

• Education: Property and Casualty + Life, Accident and Health licenses a must.
• Experience: 3-5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
