Job Summary
Physical Therapist (Home Health) position available in Presque Isle, Maine. This role involves providing care primarily to adult patients with some cases involving school-aged children, addressing post-orthopedic surgeries, mobility issues, fall risks, deconditioning, and other related conditions. The candidate must hold a Maine state license and bring their license on the first day. The assignment requires adapting to a schedule of 8 to 10 hours daily, Monday through Friday, with a flexible weekend rotation every 4 to 6 weeks.

Job Details

• Location: Presque Isle, Maine
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of licensed physical therapy experience; home health experience preferred but not required
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) expiration date: 03/01/2027
• License: Maine state license required; candidates with compact licenses for New Hampshire, Vermont, and Washington are in process
• Schedule: 8 to 10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week; includes a weekend rotation every 4 to 6 weeks (Saturday and Sunday); orientation period of 1-2 weeks
• Patient Load: 20-25 patients per physical therapist
• Support & Equipment: Support available via phone; electronic medical records (EMR) with platforms including Netsmart and Cerner; coverage throughout Aroostook County, traveling between 50-100 miles daily
• Additional Information: Scrubs are business casual or any solid-colored scrubs; no on-call duties; willing to consider alternative shift options such as 4 ten-hour days; candidates must bring their Maine license; candidates are required to arrive with their license.
