Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.***Job Summary:** The Palisades Tahoe Alpine (TPTA) Development Head Coach (Ski) leads the U12–U14 Development Program and oversees the U10 Devo Head Coach and athlete program. The TPTA Development Head Coach contributes to the overall success of Team Palisades Tahoe Alpine in alignment with the Team's Mission and Vision, as measured by the quality of the athlete and employee experience, retention, athlete success, and parent satisfaction. This position reports directly to the Development Senior Manager. *Applicants must be 18 years of age*. **Hourly:**The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.Base hourly pay range: : $25.71 - $35.99 per hour **A Great Job and Benefits to Match:*** Free skiing + riding privileges to 17 iconic resorts including Palisades Tahoe, Mammoth Mountain, Steamboat, Solitude and more!* Healthcare options for both Seasonal & Year-Round employees* Generous discounts on outdoor gear, apparel, etc.* 401(k) plan with generous company match* Free and discounted lift tickets* 25%-50% discount at Food & Beverage locations at Palisades & Alpine* 40% discount at Palisades Tahoe operated retail stores, including The North Face, Patagonia, Oakley, and more!* Employee Assistance Program (EAP)**Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks** include the following; other duties may be assigned:* Accountable for the overall quality, leadership, oversight, and successful execution of the Alpine Development Program, including athlete development, staff leadership, daily programming, competition, and the athlete and family experience.* Lead the development and implementation of the program’s athletic philosophy, annual training plan, technical and tactical standards, and competitive strategy, working collaboratively with Head Coaches and Team leadership to ensure consistency across age classes.* Ensure appropriate athlete management and development plans are in place and monitored, while supporting athlete progression and alignment between programs and age classes.* Maintain a regular on-hill presence and oversee the quality and consistency of daily training, competition preparation, coaching, athlete development, and program execution through direct collaboration with Head Coaches and coaching staff.* Lead and manage Head Coaches and coaching staff, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, scheduling, development, feedback, performance management, and formal reviews. Establish clear expectations and accountability for performance, Time & Attendance, safety, athlete development, Team and company policies, use of approved tools, and required meetings and training.* Create a positive athlete and family experience through proactive and timely communication, consistent program delivery, community building, and effective resolution of concerns, with a focus on athlete and family satisfaction and retention.* Collaborate with Program Managers, Team leadership, and resort departments to coordinate staffing, training venues, hill space, competition, travel, and other operational needs while supporting integration and athlete progression across programs.* Stay informed on industry trends, competition, and athlete-development practices, seek feedback from athletes, families, coaches, and company personnel, and use that information to continually improve program quality and services. Maintain appropriate coaching certifications and pursue ongoing professional development.* Support and execute the Team and company mission, vision, values, policies, Department Operating Plan, and Guest Experience System, and participate in required leadership meetings and training. **Competencies and Job Requirements:*** **Professionalism**: Punctual, reliable and displays proper appearance in accordance with company guidelines.
