Activity Assistant
Join our family of veteran activities staff at Berlin Health & Rehabilitation Center and take advantage of newly adjusted competitive wages for our Activities Assistant position!
Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and carrying out recreational programs, group activities, special entertainment, and holiday events to meet the needs of our residents
Support, encourage, and motivate residents to attend activities
Transport residents to and from activities as needed
Accompany residents to special events and trips outside the facility
Facilitate the activity and be always aware of all residents
Clean up after each activity and get ready for the next one
Assemble, dismantle, and store equipment and supplies used in the recreation program
Communicate with families as necessary and encourage their involvement
