RF Technician - Electronics Industry

QUICK FACTS

Location: San Diego, CA 92131
Contract: Min 3 months with strong chance of extension based on performance
Pay: $23-33/hr

EXPERIENCE NEEDED

3-5 years of hands-on electronics/RF test experience (lab-based)
Comfortable configuring and working on PCs using Windows and Linux
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting
Familiar with common electronics/RF lab equipment, such as:
- Oscilloscopes, power supplies, digital multimeters
- Power meters, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers
- Temperature-controlled chambers
Soldering skills preferred

MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB

Run RF, digital, and system-level tests of tactical radios and accessories (including circuit cards) in a lab environment
Execute lab/automated test sequences; monitor for issues and pause/triage failures before proceeding
Develop and document test procedures to support design verification
Post-process, analyze, and summarize test data/results
Produce timely test reports and share findings with the team for feedback
