Location: 165 Somerset Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901 Job Title: Clinical Care Technician Location: Morris Cancer Center Department: Oncology Unit - MCC-9 Req #: 0000251579 Status: Part-Time (Hourly) Shift: Day Pay Range: $20.11 - $28.67 per hour Job Overview RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician for our Oncology Unit-9 in Morris Cancer Center, in New Brunswick. A day in the life (Video Link): Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Basic Life Support (CPR) through American Heart Association. Preferred: Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program. Certified nursing assistant. Scheduling Requirements Day Shift, 16 hours per week (2 shifts per week), 7a-3:30p, includes every other weekend and some holidays. Essential Functions Direct patient caregiver assisting patients with activities of daily living and providing nursing care, including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, bedside care (bathing, mouth care, skin care). Providing patient care appropriate to the age and needs of patients in assigned service. Ensuring effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment, and critical actions. Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of care. Participating in collaboration of patients’ plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transition.
