You’ll collaborate with product managers, clients at leading financial institutions, and cross‑functional engineering teams to design and deliver resilient, high‑volume solutions that leverage modern APIs, microservices, third‑party integrations and cloud infrastructure. Your work will help shape solution architecture and drive reliable, performant production systems.What you’ll doDefine and implement solution architecture for high‑volume, resilient systems.Design, develop, debug and test object‑oriented Java/J2EE code and RESTful APIs (JSON over cloud‑native services following 12‑Factor principles and work with messaging platforms and integrations (Kafka, MQ, ESB).Collaborate in Agile/Scrum delivery model with product managers, clients and engineering teams.Contribute to CI/CD and DevSecOps practices to enable repeatable, secure deployments.Perform database design, performance tuning and optimization across relational and non‑relational stores.Apply design patterns and algorithmic approaches to improve reliability, maintainability, readability and performance.Troubleshoot and operate within complex IT environments, including networking, security and performance considerations.Experience you’ll need to have5+ years recent experience as a member of engineering teams delivering resilient, high‑volume solutions built in Java/J2EE.3+ years hands‑on experience building RESTful APIs (JSON over with recent hands‑on experience with Java and Spring Frameworks (Spring Boot).3+ years hands‑on experience designing, writing, debugging and testing object‑oriented code.Experience developing 12‑Factor cloud‑native services messaging architectures (Kafka, MQ, ESB).Experience with both relational and non‑relational database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).Advanced understanding of design patterns, software algorithms and coding techniques that improve testability and maintainability.High proficiency with modern CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.Experience that would be great to haveCloud migration and platforms experience (Azure, PCF, OpenShift, AWS).Experience with Splunk.Experience with file transfer technologies (NDM / Connect: Direct / IBM FileGateway).How you’ll workThis role is on-site Monday through Friday.
