.NET Full Stack Developer, Legacy Cloud Migration

Salary: $100,000 - 145,000 per year Requirements:

• We require 7+ years of professional full stack development experience, including 3+ years using React or a comparable modern SPA framework with a .NET backend.
• We expect demonstrable experience with at least one enterprise source-control migration from TFS, SVN, or a similar system to a Git-based platform, where you owned the target repository and branching architecture.
• We require hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 GCC or GCC High, including the security and compliance differences from commercial M365.
• We require working experience with at least one AI-powered enterprise search implementation, such as Azure AI Search, Copilot/Graph connectors, or a similar solution.
• We require direct experience reading, maintaining, or migrating VB.NET or classic ASP.NET/WebForms code.
• We require strong SQL Server skills, including schema design, performance tuning, and migration scripting.
• We require a completed technical assessment, including a scoped architecture discussion and a live technical review of a comparable migration or refactor scenario.
• We require a bachelors degree.
• Preferred experience includes .NET 8 years, SharePoint 7 years, and CI/CD 6 years.
• Preferred experience includes Boomi or another iPaaS platform.

• We lead three concurrent modernization efforts: enterprise source control migration, SharePoint-to-GCC cloud migration with AI-powered search, and legacy application refactoring.
• We design and document the target GitHub architecture from the ground up, including repository structure, ownership, branching strategy, environment promotion flow, CODEOWNERS and reviewer policies, secrets management, and CI/CD pipeline design.
• We produce a written architecture and migration runbook that another engineer can follow.
• We migrate SharePoint content and permissions into Google Cloud Platform Government or Government Commercial Cloud environments, while handling security model differences, permission inheritance behavior, and compliance boundaries.
• We evaluate and implement an AI-powered search layer to replace native SharePoint search, including semantic search, vector search, and RAG-style approaches.
• We lead content, data, and workflow migrations from legacy SharePoint environments into GCP Government or Assured Workloads setups.
• We navigate government security boundaries, IAM controls, compliance requirements such as FedRAMP/NIST, and GCP storage architectures.
• We unpack, analyze, and refactor complex legacy monoliths written in older .NET Frameworks and legacy VB code.
• We re-architect legacy logic into modular, high-performance modern .NET 8+ APIs with React front ends.
• We participate in a live technical discussion and walkthrough of actual reasoning on a comparable migration or refactor scenario.
