We’re looking for full‑time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Thorndale, PA area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States. About the Position of Assistant Manager As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Assistant Managers enforce established policies, procedures and standards, schedule mechanics and technicians, manage outside orders, ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs, meet customer expectations, and maintain a safe environment for team members. About the Position of Service Manager The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. They drive customer satisfaction by ensuring timely completion of high‑quality vehicle repair and maintenance, directing the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians, staging vehicle repair and maintenance work, communicating directly with customers, assessing needs, providing information regarding repairs, and striving to meet customer expectations. Qualifications To be eligible for the position of Automotive Assistant or Service Manager, you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess (i) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
