About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician for a 7-day locum tenens assignment in Nevada, starting Oct 16, 2026. Our client requires 24-hour solo coverage, typically involving 12-15 hours of active work with the remaining time on call. This role involves performing emergent intubations, vent management, central lines, and a range of adult and pediatric procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, and neonatal circumcisions.

Responsibilities and Duties

Perform emergent intubations, vent management, and central line placements.
Conduct required adult procedures including intubation, central line placement, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and lumbar puncture.
Execute required pediatric procedures such as intubation, lumbar puncture, neonatal circumcision, and neonatal UVC/peripheral line placement.

Additional Information

Board Certification in Hospital Medicine required.
EMR: Cerner.
Work setting: Inpatient.
Call schedule: 24-hour solo coverage, with a portion on call.
Average daily patient encounters: 18.
