What You’ll Do As a Bulk Supervisor, you are responsible for overseeing the preparation, blending, and transfer of juice and related ingredients in bulk form to support production schedules in a high‑volume beverage manufacturing environment. This role ensures all batching and bulk handling operations are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality and food safety standards. The Bulk Supervisor leads and supports a team of operators, maintains accurate documentation, and collaborates closely with quality, maintenance, and production departments to deliver consistent and high‑quality juice products. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily bulk operations including batching, blending, and transfer of juice concentrates, ingredients, and finished product to storage or packaging. Ensure all bulk operations comply with GMP, HACCP, FDA, and company‑specific food safety and quality standards. Monitor and verify accurate ingredient measurements, mixing times, and process controls to ensure product consistency and compliance with recipes. Oversee cleaning and sanitation of tanks, lines, and bulk equipment following standard operating procedures (CIP/SIP protocols). Maintain accurate batch records, log sheets, material usage forms, and other production documentation. Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to address non‑conformances and implement corrective actions. Provide leadership, training, and development to bulk operators; monitor performance and provide regular feedback. Ensure safe operation of all equipment and promote a safety‑first culture by enforcing proper use of PPE and safe work practices. Collaborate with maintenance and engineering to resolve equipment issues and ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed. Participate in production meetings and assist in planning and scheduling bulk operations to meet production demands. Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and optimize bulk operation performance. Manage raw material and bulk inventory levels; assist in cycle counts and materials tracking. What We’re Looking For A high school diploma or equivalent, combined with relevant work experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in beverage or food manufacturing. 2 or more years of experience in a supervisory or lead role. Strong knowledge of aseptic or bulk liquid processing and packaging, including blending, batching, tank transfers, and CIP/SIP procedures. Familiarity with HACCP, GMPs, FDA regulations, and food safety compliance. Working knowledge of manufacturing systems, batching software, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Regularly stand and walk throughout the manufacturing facility for extended periods, up to 12 hours per shift. Frequently climb stairs, ladders, and elevated platforms to inspect equipment, monitor operations, and support employees. Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach while conducting inspections and troubleshooting operational issues. Physical Demands Regularly stand and walk throughout the manufacturing facility for extended periods, up to 12 hours per shift. Frequently climb stairs, ladders, and elevated platforms to inspect equipment, monitor operations, and support employees. Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach while conducting inspections and troubleshooting operational issues. Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull materials, tools, hoses, valves, or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to enter and navigate production areas with moving machinery and equipment. Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to heat, humidity, cold temperatures, dust, noise, steam, and vibration. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, steel‑toed shoes, gloves, and respiratory protection when required. Ability to read gauges, monitors, production reports, and equipment displays with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to communicate effectively with employees, contractors, and management in a manufacturing environment. Ability to respond quickly to operational, safety, quality, and emergency situations. Ability to sit, use a computer, and perform administrative tasks for extended periods while preparing reports, schedules, and production documentation. Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, holidays, and on‑call assignments as needed to support production requirements. Ability to travel frequently between production, warehouse, maintenance, and office areas throughout the facility.
