Overview To ensure a safe, efficient, well‑maintained hotel environment while providing maintenance services to guests in a courteous, professional, and engaging manner. Responsibilities Maintain all public areas, guest rooms, meeting rooms and corridors on an ongoing basis including paint, wallpaper and plastering. Perform preventive maintenance of guest rooms, following preventive maintenance guidelines for the Omni CARE program. Maintain correct stock/inventory of paint supplies and materials and communicate when replenishment is needed. Aid guests in locating other areas of the hotel (walk them to destination if possible). Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and emergency evacuation. Be familiar with Omni's systems and procedures. Respond to all requests. Assist engineers and mechanics as needed with repairs. Keep all work areas clean. Qualifications Previous experience as a commercial painter required; hotel experience preferred. Must be able to brush, roll, spray, and work on different textures. Must be able to patch, float, and repair damaged surfaces. Must be able to work with stains, lacquers, varnishes, epoxy and Bondo. Must be able to apply caulk. Must be willing to work based on business and occupancy levels. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
