Dental Assistant

Ford Endodontics is seeking a skilled, compassionate PRN Dental Assistant to join our team and help us deliver exceptional patient care. Our practice is built on a core belief: putting the patient’s needs first and this principal guides everything we do. The ideal candidate will have a natural drive to provide outstanding care, a strong attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset. This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 12 weeks. Responsibilities Assist the doctor during a variety of endodontic procedures to ensure efficiency and patient comfort. Greet patients and guide them through their treatment experience, making them feel at ease. Sterilize, maintain, and organize instruments while preparing treatment rooms according to strict protocols. Capture high quality, diagnostic dental X-rays and scans as needed. Accurately document patient information and chart notes. Perform administrative office tasks using a computer and dental software. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications 1+ years of Dental Assisting experience preferred. 1+ years of customer service experience preferred. We value a friendly, patient first attitude. Certification or associate degree in an accredited dental assisting program is a plus but not required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with computer-based tasks. Professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude. High school diploma or equivalent.
