Supply Chain Statistical Analyst

Position SummaryAs Supply Chain Statistical Analyst, you will be responsible and accountable for design, development and reporting of all supply chain measures enabling timely decision making.You will drive operational excellence & provide a robust and fact-based 30 months rolling forecast.You will coordinate cross-functional research activities and reconcile significant variances for its reduction and work on mitigation actions deployment and execution. You will ensure that the weekly & monthly forecast submission deadlines and allied reports are respected. You will lead and drive product life cycle activities ensure zero obsolescence.Key ResponsibilitiesDemand ManagementResponsible for weekly update of arbitrated demand using specific tool (e.g. o9 - Demand Planning)Statistical Analyst & Reporting's through o9, PowerBi, PowerPoint presentationsAnalyze demand, ask questions, investigate, challenge demand forecast based on historical data, seasonality, market trends, external events, etcManage and prepare statistical forecasts: gather, analyze and validate dataApply error analysis techniques to improve forecastingCheck weekly demand vs sold capacity, demand variation vs tolerance and escalate deviationsTake actions if incorrect EDI/demand (e.g. EDI/demand received for obsolete PNs)Work with Customer Desk Specialist and Sales Manager to validate EDI/Demand in case deviations are identifiedAnalyze gap and seek convergence of short term / long term forecastPropose demand arbitrated volumes and validate them with Sales Team and Global Demand PlanningProactively monitor the demand and raise the flag in case of risks (demand variations)Use MAPE and BIAS for demand analysis and take actions to improve forecast accuracyDemand AccuracyWeekly check MAPE and BIAS at PN levelOne Team: Discuss and align assumptions with CM at required & meaningful levelContinuous Improvements: Follow defined standards and guidelines. Propose and implement improvementsCheck and address with improvement top offendersInternal Alignment and CollaborationGEM deployment and its substance for business process excellenceDrive annual SDP process and coordinate and lead key project through six sigma principlesCollaborate with Supply Chain, Customer Desk Specials, Sales Team to align on demand forecastEnsure adherence to standard demand planning, PIPO, NPI process for meet assigned functional KPIs viz. MAPE, BIAS, Inventory, E&O, Premium FreightActively participates in weekly demand planning, SIOP meetings with ensuring successful completion of assigned deliverablesLead, support & report statistical analysis on demand forecast and related KPIsFollow-up and adjust arbitrated demand in case change of references (dash change; phase in/phase out) to avoid excess and obsoleteEducation / QualificationsPost Graduate & / Bachelor’s degree on Business Administration, Engineering or related areas requiredExperienceMinimum 10+ years of relevant experience in demand planning or customer service, sales and supply chainPrevious experience in the automotive industry preferred (OEM, Tier-I)Key Skills and KnowledgeTechnical SkillsEnglish proficiency level; Spanish, Portuguese proficiency added advantageProficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impactsStrong analytical skillsERP tools viz o9, SAP skills required and other software related to demand planning preferredExperienced with MS Office (Excel advanced, PowerPoint, PowerBi etc.)Presentation and communication skillsPreferred - Six Sigma Green Belt Certification / equivalent certificationBehaviorsCustomer focus – understand and follow customer specific requirementsAnalyze and challenge forecast data, investigate variationsSpot risks of forecast deviations and communicate internally, share information, collaborate and validate findingsSelf-learning, seek for continuous improvementWell organized to manage multiple competing priorities in parallelWork accurate and follow the weekly MOSTeam playerPosition InformationIndividual Contributor Role#LI-LD1Full timePosting Date: 2026-07-30
