Responsibilities

• Process daily customer payments, including ACH, wire transfers, and checks
  
• Apply cash receipts accurately and timely to customer accounts
  
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts
  
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
  
• Reconcile accounts receivable balances and maintain accurate records
  
• Communicate with customers regarding account status, payment arrangements, and invoice inquiries
  
• Generate aging reports and assist with collections efforts
  
• Work closely with accounting, sales, and customer service teams to resolve account issues
  
• Assist with month-end close activities and reporting requirements
  
• Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
  

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable, Collections, Billing, or related accounting experience
  
• Strong understanding of AR processes and cash application
  
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and spreadsheets
  
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience handling high-volume invoicing and payment processing
  
• Knowledge of reconciliations and month-end accounting procedures
  
• Experience working within a manufacturing, distribution, or corporate accounting environment
  

Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
