Branch Sales Associate
We are seeking a customer-focused Branch Sales Associate to deliver exceptional service through multiple customer interaction channels while supporting sales growth and customer success. This role helps customers identify the right products and solutions to meet their needs while creating opportunities to expand business relationships and drive additional sales. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and building long-term customer loyalty in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Assist customers in identifying products and solutions that help them complete their work efficiently
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and requests
- Build strong customer relationships through consistent follow-up and service excellence
- Navigate customers to appropriate products, services, and resources
- Identify opportunities for additional sales and lead-generation during customer interactions
- Support business growth by recognizing customer needs and recommending relevant solutions
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and ensure a positive customer experience
- Contribute to branch and sales performance goals
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to identify customer needs and recommend effective solutions
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Comfortable working through multiple customer service channels
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn internal systems and processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service, sales, retail, or branch operations experience
- Experience identifying sales opportunities and generating leads
- Experience working with product-based customers in industrial, distribution, maintenance, supply, or related environments
- Strong customer retention and account development skills
