Sterile Processing TechThis position is for weekend nights, specifically Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Shifts are from 18:00 to 06:30. The facility handles an average daily tray volume of 700. There are a total of 72 operating rooms. Candidates are expected to have at least 2 years of relevant experience. First-time travelers with Trauma I experience and 2 years of experience will be considered. Weekend availability is required. National certifications through CBSPD or CRCST are mandatory. BLS certification is not required. Experience with sterilization equipment, specifically Belimed washers and sterilizers, is preferred. Floating within the facility's scope of care is required. Locals are not accepted within a 75-mile radius. Travelers may have up to 7 days of requested time off (RTO) during the contract. Attendance issues such as absences or tardiness are considered excessive if there are 2 or more incidents during the contract. The unit does not permit the use of earbuds or cellphones during shifts. This surgical service environment includes specialties such as Trauma, Cardiac, Neuro, Ortho, ENT, Vascular, Transplant, and Robotics. Travelers have the option to work on holidays.
