Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients in inpatient or outpatient environments and develop tailored treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to maximize patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through understanding therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and essential home exercises
• Thoroughly document evaluations, treatment procedures, and progress in alignment with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary care team meetings to foster coordinated and comprehensive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or its equivalent from an accredited institution

Certifications

• License to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialized certifications (e.g., in geriatrics or neurology) are advantageous but not mandatory
