Registered Nurse

Med/Surg RN position available for night shifts. 36 hours per week. Every other weekend required. Required to float within specialty and to lower acuity areas as needed. Not required to be on-call. Experienced in accessing and managing ports. Knowledge of BiPAP/CPAP management. Skilled in blood product administration. Experience with central line blood draw and chest tube management. Proficient in colostomy and ileostomy care. Ability to manage insulin protocols and interpret arterial blood gases. Understanding of isolation precautions and PPE usage. Experience in total joint replacement care. Prepared to provide tracheostomy care and wound care including wound vac management. Daily census for the unit is approximately 28 patients. The unit comprises of 31 beds and accommodates adult and geriatric populations. Interdisciplinary support includes various specialized teams. Must have experience with preferred charting systems. Floating may occur within scope without restrictions. Returning travelers must meet specific criteria after their last assignment. Candidates should be compliant with onboarding requirements within a specific timeframe.
