Electronic Assembler

Job Title: Assembler C Job Code: 38591 Job Location: Salt Lake City, UT (onsite) Schedule: 9/80 Job Description: We are looking for Electronic Assemblers to perform multiple tasks on assigned team, project, or functional area. Tasks will typically be performed within full-scale production manufacturing operations and include non‑routine, non‑repetitive production electronic, mechanical, electromechanical assembly; quality assurance and reliability testing following established methods and procedures; production scheduling and control; and coordinating, planning, and expediting the flow of material, parts and assemblies. Tasks may include monitoring and verifying quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. The role requires passing all job‑specific or specialized certification programs required for core tasks or specialized assignments, and may provide training to less experienced team members. Participation in program or functional team projects to develop process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to enhance program quality, cost and scheduling is also expected. Essential Functions: Use basic hand tools and fixturing. Use PPE appropriate to the use of chemicals and protection from other hazards. Lift at least 32 pounds. Read and understand blueprints and shop orders. Follow and give written and verbal instructions. Perform basic shop math, including measuring ratios by weight and volume. Work in and promote a team environment. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience, or 2 years post‑secondary/Associate’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment using hand tools, performing assembly and/or repair work. Preferred Additional Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office products. A J‑STD‑001 solder certification.
