Contractor Software Developer

RGA is looking for a Contractor Software Developer.

Assignment: 6 months, possibly RTH or extension

Looking for local candidates

Responsibilities

• Able to gather requirements
• Can work with limited to no supervision
• Able to develop solutions that adhere to industry best practices
• Must be able to write and maintain development and user documentation

Requirements

EXPERIENCE

Required:

• Software Engineer (experienced (5+ professional years) developer with very SQL, and understanding of data integration between systems)
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of relational database/database design
• Experience writing programming code
• Understanding of data integration between systems
• Experience providing production support
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Strong ability to troubleshoot production issues and provide risk assessments as well as provide lasting solutions to existing and new issues
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate with business stakeholders and IT Product owners

Preferred:

• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of relational database/database design
