Registered Nurse (RN) position in Medical/Surgical specialty. Job involves working at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, part of Trinity Health system. Position located in Mason City, Iowa. Shift hours are from 19:00 to 07:30 (overnight shift). Employment type is Long Term Assignment (LTA). Job Requirements

Must have a valid nursing license with verification dated within 30 days of start. American Heart Association BLS certification required for all direct patient care personnel. NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required. Must complete specialty specific competency testing within the last year. Must provide documentation of required immunizations and health screenings including Fit Test, COVID-19 vaccine or exemption, MMR, Hepatitis B series, Influenza vaccine (optional), 2 Step PPD or IGRA, Varicella, Tdap vaccine or declination if no pediatric interaction. Must pass Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days of start. Must complete Trinity Code of Conduct, I9, Confidentiality Agreement, Integrity and Audit Services Form, Non Employee Upload Form, Conflict of Interest Disclosure, Criminal Background Check, Education Verification, EPLS, GSA/OIG, Joint Commission Testing, NSO, System Access Form, Skills Checklist, Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training (Iowa only), IA Sing Report, and OFAC screening as required by Trinity Health. Shift is from 19:00 to 07:30, indicating an overnight shift. Schedule is Every Other Week (EOW) and Every Other Holiday (EOH). Additional Details

Contract length is 13 weeks. Must upload scanned copies of certifications and licenses with expiration dates. All documentation must be uploaded to TrinityVMS system. Declination for certain vaccines accepted only with agency letterhead and depending on assignment requirements. Background checks and verifications must be dated within 30 days of start date.
