Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary:


We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with specialities in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, Operating Room. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. Daily tasks include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Critical to this role is strong communication and strong collaboration with patients, providers, and other members of our team. At least 2 years of experience and exceptional skill is required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in various specialties including Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, and Operating Room.
• Conduct patient assessments and administer medications according to treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Manage case and hospice care for individuals with advancing age, frailty, and serious illness.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
• Participate in continuous education and training to maintain clinical competencies.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Minimum of two years' experience in hospital, home health, or hospice care.
• Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
• Strong interdisciplinary team collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Driver's license, car insurance, and automobile for field work.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience in specialized nursing areas such as ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, or Operating Room.
• Additional certifications relevant to nursing specialties.

Special Considerations:

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
• May require flexibility for shift changes and occasional on-call duties depending on assignment.
• Compliance with all regulatory and hospital policies including RTO restrictions.

Scheduling:

• Work schedule may include day, night, or rotating shifts based on department needs.
• Shift assignments are determined by hospital staffing requirements and nurse availability.
