Qualifications: This job has the opportunity to train in advanced modality Graduate of an accredited Radiology program with an active CRT or ARRT(CT) license in one specialty area. Must hold current state of California permit to practice in Radiology where applicable. Two years of basic radiology experience. High School graduate or equivalent Current BLS certification Moderate to heavy lifting may be required. Job Requirements (20% of Evaluation Score) Performs ordered examinations of appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and RT protocols of the individual site and reading physician. Transports patients to and from mobile/facility, maintaining patient care, comfort, and safety, completing patient screening forms as applicable, review and explain procedure to patient, provide images to facility in desired format, under guidance and approval of set ordering provider or radiologist, administer contrast agent or other radiopharmaceuticals according to protocols. Maintains technical competency through ARRT examination in given specialty, continued education, participation in hospital competency sponsored training programs; maintains confidentiality of all department and hospital information according to established policies and procedures Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems. Calls for service and notifies all pertinent team members; if applicable, assists with the set up and tear down of equipment in accordance with hospital and/or regulatory guidance. Completes necessary administrative tasks. i.e.: time reports, billing, QA, etc.; demonstrating sustained proficiency navigating through Orchard Hospital Health Information Systems - radiology information system, PACS, Inpatient information system Chart Access, ED Information SystemT System, Lab Information System if applicable and Clinic EClinical Works information system if applicable; ELearning and hospital wide policies and procedures. Complies with all safety policies and regulations including radiation safety; maintaining current permits to practice in the state of California in which services are performed; supports quality, performance improvement, and infection prevention and control initiatives and practices. Assertively and professionally works to resolve difficult interactions with physicians, co-workers, visitors or personnel from other departments; uses chain of command to promptly address departmental operations and unresolved issues with others. Provides service excellence, addressing cultural, religious and other special needs of patients, families and staff. Demonstrates effective communication with patient, visitors, caregivers, family members, and the health care team to achieve desired outcomes; attends required meetings, in-services, mandatory training and staff meetings per policy. #J-18808-Ljbffr
