Job Opportunity

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team. This position requires travel and will involve working on weekends. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MRI technology and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Shift Details

Day Shift: 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:00)
Night Shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)
Weekend Requirements: Yes, must be available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Key Responsibilities

Perform MRI scans and ensure high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes
Administer contrast media as needed
Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
Document patient information and imaging results in the electronic health record
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine imaging needs

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist
Required certifications: ARRT MR or ARRT R, BLS
Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic
Ability to work with various MRI equipment, including GE and Philips
Knowledge of patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Work Environment

This position is based in a Short Term Acute Care facility identified as a Level IV Trauma Center, with a total of 60 staff beds. The department runs seven days a week and has a variety of cases including neuro, GI, and vascular.

No on-call requirements
Orientation and training will be provided upon hiring
Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
