Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) in Williston, North Dakota. This position involves floating across the Labor and Delivery, Medical-Surgical, and Emergency Room units as needed. Candidates are required to bring their licensed credential on the first day. The role entails working night shifts with additional call responsibilities, and adherence to unit-specific policies and protocols is essential.

Job Details:

• Location: Williston, North Dakota
• Shift: Nights: 6:45 PM 7:15 AM and 6:45 PM 7:15 AM, with every third weekend and every other holiday working.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit, BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification, and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Certifications: BLS Certification, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring.
• Additional Information: Experience with reading and interpreting fetal strips, critical thinking skills, and ability to follow quality metrics are critical. Must be adaptable to change, communicate effectively, and have prior travel experience.
• Duties: Including but not limited to providing patient care for obstetric/neonatal patients, managing titratable drips (Pitocin, insulin, magnesium), assisting with transfers, vitals, and general patient support. RNs may need to troubleshoot Respiratory Therapist equipment and read their own fetal strips.
• Float Requirements: Yes RNs will float to Medical-Surgical and Emergency Room units and should be adaptable to different clinical settings.
• Dress Code: Maroon scrubs (provided), with a change into surgical scrubs upon arrival on the unit.
• Orientation: Three unit-specific orientation shifts.
• Additional notes: Candidates must adhere to the Radius Rule (50 miles), and cannot be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with the organizations affiliated health systems within the past 12 months. RTO must be requested upfront; additional RTO requests will not be approved afterward.
• Charting System: MEDITECH
• Trauma Level: CAH (Critical Access Hospital)
• Shift Notes: Nights with call, every third weekend, every other holiday, and potential floating within skill set depending on staffing needs.
