Security Clearance None / Not Required Collins Aerospace is looking for a Quality Inspector II to perform visual and dimensional inspection of parts, subassemblies, and major assemblies to support the manufacture of critical aircraft technology for the world's leading aviation customers. In this role the employee will use standard measuring instruments as well as special measuring instruments and gauges to complete inspection records and rejection reports. What You Will Do Perform detailed product inspections on in-process and finished goods, including First Article Inspections. Document characteristics of products accurately and with technical detail. Initiate quality notifications for any non-conforming products. Apply quality assurance procedures and requirements to the inspection of hardware and to document reviews. Identify potential quality issues early and help prevent their occurrence. Communicate effectively with other Collins Aerospace personnel about quality issues needing resolution. Monitor the use of calibrated measuring instruments. Qualifications You Must Have High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., G.E.D.) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Qualifications We Prefer Ability to use precision measuring tools. Basic computer skills, including the ability to use operating software. Ability to pass a color/vision test. Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages. Experience performing detailed product inspections using blueprints and specifications. Ability to utilize computer systems for data input and retrieval for inspections and configuration purposes. Ability to review documents and identify and resolve errors or missing information. Salary Range The hourly range for this role is $18.30 to $34.40.
