Marketing and Professional Sales Temporary Pool
Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania invites applications for temporary faculty positions (full-time one semester, part-time one semester or part-time academic year) as needs arise in the Department of Marketing and Professional Sales. The Department offers (1) B.S.B.A. in Professional Sales and Marketing, (2) B.S.B.A. with a Concentration in Marketing, (3) Minor in Marketing, and (4) Minor in Professional Sales. Duties - Based on the specific needs of the department at the time of appointment, a successful applicant must be qualified to teach introductory and/or upper-level courses. Course(s) may include: MKTG210 Marketing Principles & Practices and MKTG370 Sales Management. The location for these temporary positions varies with the expectation of serving a multi-campus University within the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.
Qualifying Experience and Education (Minimum/Preferred) - Minimum Requirements: A master's degree in business. Applicants must meet the professional qualifications specified in the College of Business Policy. Evidence of or potential for teaching effectiveness. Preferred Qualifications: A master's degree in Marketing or an ABD/Ph.D. in a relevant discipline from an AACSB accredited university. Prior college-level teaching experience for equivalent introductory marketing courses and/or sales management courses. Demonstrated ability to work with or knowledge of diverse populations. Related business experience.
