• Estimated Weekly Pay: $6,150 - $7,280
• Shifts: 12-hour shifts (7A-7P and 7P-7A)
• Setting: Emergency Department (22 beds, open ICU) - hospital emergency department / ED physician job
• Annual Patient Volume: 32,000
• Daily Patient Volume: 90-100 (expect 18-20 patient encounters per 12-hour shift)
• EMR: Meditech 6.1
• Housing: Provided in hospital-owned apartments
• Travel: Travel costs capped at $500

• Board Certified Physician (MD) in Emergency Medicine - board-certified emergency medicine physician
• Active enrollment in NC Medicaid and PECOS (required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in emergency medicine (preferred prior solo ED coverage)
• Ability to provide solo coverage in a busy emergency department
• Willingness to work both day and night 12-hour shifts
• Fellowship training preferred

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to a diverse patient population in the ED - manage acute and urgent care cases
• Manage 18-20 patient encounters per 12-hour shift; maintain high clinical throughput and documentation accuracy
• Work collaboratively with mid-level providers and support staff to deliver efficient emergency department care
• Utilize Meditech 6.1 EMR for timely documentation and order entry
• Perform standard solo emergency room coverage and coordinate patient disposition
• Coordinate care with available support services including anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedics, and radiology
