Registered Nurse (RN) - TraumaWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Emergency and Trauma care to join our team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing critical care during the initial assessment and treatment of trauma patients.Unit SpecificsNumber of Beds: 2 trauma bays in the Emergency DepartmentPatient Ratios: To be determinedType of Equipment: Level 1 rapid infuser, HOT LINE, EKG, GE care scape (ultrasound), Hamilton vent, CAT tourniquet, Alaris IV pumpDocumentation System: MeditechQualificationsCurrent TNCC certification is requiredENPC certification is preferredACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are requiredSkills and ResponsibilitiesAbility to run mass transfusions through a Level 1 rapid infuserAssisting in the Operating Room as neededStrong background in IV insertion and managementPerforming emergency procedures including IV placement, spinal stabilization, splinting, assisting with chest tube procedures, traction, and central/arterial line placementDemonstrating rapid critical thinking skills in emergency situationsScheduling and Work EnvironmentShift: Night shifts with weekends requiredFlexible scheduling options availableWork within a collaborative team focused on Trauma careDress CodeStaff is required to wear red and black scrubs, specifically a red top and black bottom.Awards and RecognitionOur team has received numerous awards for exemplary care and efficiency in trauma settings.
