Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join our dedicated pharmacy team. In this role, you will provide general clinical and pharmacy services while supervising technical staff to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality patient care across all hospital departments.

You'll collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret, verify, and accurately enter physician orders.
• Compound and dispense medications with precision and efficiency.
• Monitor therapy for drug interactions, contraindications, and dosing accuracy.
• Sustain the hospital formulary and promote evidence-based medication use.
• Provide medication information and clinical support to staff and patients.
• Participate in clinical programs such as pharmacokinetics, nutrition support, anticoagulation management, renal dosing, and more.
• Document all interventions and report medication errors/adverse events.
• Support and supervise pharmacy operations and personnel.

Qualifications

• Education: B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy (required)
• Licensure: Active Pharmacist License in good standing (required)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital experience (required)
• Experience is a strong plus
• Skills: Self-starter with solid clinical judgment, teamwork, and leadership ability
