Embark on a rewarding new assignment as a Special Education Teacher in a supportive elementary setting near Naperville, IL. This full-time contract role begins August 14th and offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact guiding and supporting a small, motivated group of students.

In this position, you will work with a class of 15 total students, providing both general and special education instruction. You will have a unique opportunity to focus on individualized learning, as only a few students require IEP services. Collaboration with families and colleagues will play a key role in ensuring the academic and social development of every child.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois General Education and Special Education teaching certificates (pending certifications may be considered)
• Passion for creating inclusive, engaging classroom environments
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Dedication to building positive relationships with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver innovative instruction to support both general education and special education students
• Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to a diverse classroom
• Maintain up-to-date documentation, including IEPs and progress reports for students requiring special education services
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and multidisciplinary teams
• Foster a nurturing, responsive classroom community where every child can thrive
